Contemporary yet timeless

Designed to grow into

Bonnie & The Gang 6

Bonnie & The Gang is a young Belgian brand that wants to tell a sustainable story and let fashion breathe again. It consists of high-quality pieces that are easy to wear, contemporary yet timeless and designed to grow into.

Bonnie & The Gang strives to make conscious choices when compiling the collection and selecting materials with respect for all the people involved in the process. Production quantities are carefully determined, resulting in exclusivity rather than overstock. The products are made of organic, recycled GOTS or Oeko-Tex certified materials. Designed in Belgium, manufactured in Portugal.

Bonnie & The Gang is available in selected shops worldwide with a range of carefully chosen items for little ones from newborn to 10 years old.

From fashion academy to own label

Based on a little troublemaker

Ine, mother of Coco and Silas, is the proud owner of Bonnie & The Gang. As a graphic and fashion designer she has always been attracted to children’s fashion and lifestyle. After having worked as a graphic designer for several years, she graduated from the SASK Sint-Niklaas fashion academy in 2013 with a children’s wear collection. Her label Ine de Haes was launched shortly after. For several seasons, she designed collections for children aged 4 to 16, which later developed into this new concept; Bonnie & The Gang.

Almost two years ago she launched this new label of baby and children’s clothes, inspired by her first little troublemaker Coco. She designed on demand, but the growth in orders was rapid and she decided to work with a small factory in Portugal.

Items designed to last more than one season

Conscious consumption is more important than ever

Because Bonnie wants to avoid the waste of good and comfortable clothing, she makes items that are designed to last more than one season.

There is a growing awareness – conscious consumption is more important than ever. So hats off to you for going along with the only fashion trend that has any real meaning. You prefer quality over quantity, contributing to a new and better lifestyle.

A natural flow of creation and inspiration

An ongoing concept that lasts longer than the trends

Transseasonal fashion

The timeless collection is part of an ongoing concept that lasts longer than seasonal trends. It avoids replacing or discarding good quality clothes at discount prices twice (or even more) a year. The collection will always change and evolve. Pieces will be added or replaced, different fabrics or colour sets to keep a fresh look. Not just seasonally, but through a natural flow of creation and inspiration.

Slow fashion

Bonnie & The Gang strives to make conscious choices when compiling the collection, selecting materials and its staff. Production quantities are carefully determined, resulting in exclusivity rather than overstock.

Bonnie & The Gang 2

We are all aware of the deeper problems that over-consumption in fashion has caused. Not only are rubbish dumps filled to the brim with textiles and toxic materials from cheap dyes, but garment factories are also guilty of labour abuses around the world to keep up with demand.

One of Bonnie & The Gang’s most important rules is not to participate in end-of-season sales. She genuinely believes that fashion should not be disposable. Her timeless collection is part of a continuous concept that outlasts seasonal trends. She avoids having to replace or throw away good quality clothes at discount prices twice (or even more) a year.

Bonnie & The Gang has replaced traditional poly bags with compostable and water soluble ones and overseas shipments are made carbon neutral through DHL’s GoGreen compensation programme. She works with a small Portuguese factory that also sources her organic material close to home.

The items are designed to grow in. She takes the time to buy good quality so that they can get a second life.

Bonnie & The Gang is a small and young brand, but the responsibility lies with each and every one of us.”
